Long Bay Beach is about a mile long with the finest white sand in Jamaica.The dunes are still intact with lots of coconut palms growing there. Only a few houses and a couple of restaurants are right at the beach. 'Chill Out' is a cool spot to have lunch and or a cold drink. It is a great stop after visiting the Reach Falls. On windy days it is a wild beach, great for bodysurfing and a long barefoot walk on the sand. If you are not an excellent swimmer, do not swim out too far, as there are strong currents. Not yet discovered by mainstream tourism it has the vibes Negril had twentyfive years ago.
